We make every effort to identify and facilitate opportunities to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our community, especially those who face some serious societal challenges.\u00a0We believe the legal community is uniquely poised to serve the underprivileged and apply the same work ethic and dedication to our charitable endeavors as we do to representing our clients.This year, under the thoughtful leadership of attorney Robin Treto and paralegal Amy Dorman, we initiated a compassionate connection with the children at Sterling Park Elementary in Casselberry, Florida.\u00a0Sterling Park is a Title 1 school where over 80% of the students receive free\/reduced lunch. Through this new relationship, our attorneys and staff feel carry our firm\u2019s culture and legacy of service and corporate social responsibility to the community. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to share our financial resources, volunteer our time and be intentionally involved in the lives of this group of kids, \u201cthe Pantry Kids.\u201dSo far this year, our firm has organized two events for Sterling Park\u2019s Pantry Kids.\u00a0In May, we brought Chick-Fil-A lunch to our new friends as well as a summer reading book. Our attorneys and staff ate lunch and played with 73 kids, who later reported to their teachers, \u201cit was the most fun they had all year.\u201d\u00a0Then in August, we provided our friends with fun, yet essential, back to school gear.\u00a0At this latest event, we were able to meet with many families as we handed out icy treats and their new backpacks, which were filled with school supplies.
